Light in the Garden

I've been watching Runaway Guys playthrough of Super Mario 3D world, which got me to start drawing this. Even though I'm not at all a fan of the 'damsel in distress' trope (sometimes it can be done right, if the character is interesting or contributes to the story aside from being a love interest), I've always liked Princess Peach for some reason. Maybe it's just because the Mario game I played the most aside from World was the All Stars remake of Mario 2 aka Doki Doki Panic, of which I always picked the Princess to play as. I understand why people don't like her, but I think she can be a good character, she just hasn't been handled well or given much of a chance (which is why I'm really liking 3D world). This is just her finding a star that landed in her garden, of which she's seeing it off as it makes its journey back up to its home.
